Day 3 on our Florida Trip...
We were suppose to go to Disney today, but it was so hot we decided she would not have a good time, so we decided to have a nice low key family day. We started off down town Winter Garden and walked around until it got to hot, then we headed to the mall to ride the Carousel and eat lunch.

Walking Nana down the West Orange Trial.

Holding hands with Nana and Mommy on our walk.

shoulder ride from Poppi...

I think she is ready to get down...

Such a big girl on the fire truck!

Gary and I took a picture when I was 6 months pregnant with Savanna.

So after our walk down town Winter Garden we went to the mall and had lunch and ice cream while we waited for the carousel to open. She walked around it with Poppi checking it out before it opened.

Is it open yet?

Poppi getting her strapped in.

Cheese!

Mommy and Me

She sure loves her Poppi.

He's just like a big kid...

When we got back to Nana and Poppi's house to wait for Uncle Ken to arrive from Georgia we decided it was pool time!

Granny and Banna eating apples for a snack.

Look at my apple

oops, that's not a toy. Yes it is empty and it has a lid on it, and No Banna did not drink any.

Someone is ready for the pool.

She is still not sure she likes this thing.

"Poppi did Nana not tell you I didn't like this thing yesterday, what makes you think I want to be in it today?"

Se Poppi, I love my tub, I don't need the pool!

Banna thinks she is so big, but she still does need a little help!

After time at the pool we went out to dinner.

Not the best picture but its the only one Uncle Ken and I got together this trip.

Banna did such a good job at the restaurant, she loved it when Poppi got up and walked her around.

Once we got back to the house we were getting ready for bed....

Until Poppi gives into her and takes her outside (she LOVES it outside), little did he know all she wanted to do was get down and play in the dirt and rock. Mommy said she can't do that in her PJ's after she already had a bath.

Saturday, Day four is next...

Our second day was a busy one too!!! Nana, Banna and I started the day off early with a trip to Cocoa Beach to see her Great Grandpa and Iris. She did great on the hour car ride there and even better at our two hour lunch with them. She got to play at there house, and of course wanted to play with all of the things she shouldn't like the glass figurines. She loved Grandpa's phone, she made him take her to it at least 10 times, and she said "ello" about 50 times!

She went straight to her grandpa, this will be the 3rd time he has gotten to see her.

Checking out Grandpa and Iris's house, trying to find new things to get into!

Nana, Grandpa, mommy and Banna
"Ello?"

She slept the entire car ride back to Orlando until we got to Uncle Jame's salon. She was a little sleepy when she first got there, but she loved the new necklace he gave her!

Of course Uncle James loves her.... She's a red head too!!

He keeps her 12month picture on the ladder right at his station and shows her off to everyone!

She is just so serious!

When we finally got back to Nana and Poppi's house the three of us relaxed in the pool. They bought her a little floaty with a cover and of course Savanna did not want anything to do with it. She wanted to be let go to be her little independent self, but not being a swimmer that wasn't aloud.

She had a blast playing on Nana's float, and she wouldn't give up that dang temp gage, she was obsessed with it.

Eating gold fish with Nana in the pool... she even shared one or two with Nana.

To end our very eventful day my best friend Molly came by to play with Savanna before we went out for dinner. Savanna had a blast with Aunt Moe

She made Aunt Moe's night when she said "Mo"

You just have to love Savanna's photo faces... I just keep hoping she will one day learn to smile when asked for a picture!

Moe and Kris...

Day three is next... Sorry it is taking so long!

Florida Sun 2010... Day 1

This was Savanna's 3rd trip to Florida. Our first trip she was 2 months, then the next trip she was 9months and this time she is 16 months... by far the hardest age to travel with, and by myself I might add.
The Flight... was an adventure its self. I was that mom you looked at with the child who was crying and fussing because she wanted to be down , playing and doing everything she should be... and I know everyone was praying to NOT be sitting next to us. My sweet Savanna surprised me, as soon as we got on both flights she was great and fell right to sleep. She did so good I didn't give her enough credit.

We had several of these moments between flights...

A few of these moments...

I know everyone around us was so glad to see these moments... sweet sleeping Baby!
.

We finally arrived to Nana and Poppi's house, and little miss had to check everything out, she finally got some freedom to rome free!

Nana, Granny, Cesar and Savanna.

It's all over now, she found one of the cats, which she called "at" the entire trip. She loved trying to catch them, but they were to fast for her.

We ended our first night with a dinner with friends. A group of some of my friends come over for dinner every time I come in town. We all happen to have little girls. From 9mo to almost 3. They had a ball together!

They all kept copying each other and thought it would be fun to crawl.
They had a blast playing with the shoes... what one did the rest had to do... so cute!

Ambriah (9 months), Kylie (2 in Sept), Savanna (16 months), and Aubrey (3 in Dec)

Old Friends... and new ones! Can't wait for our next trip!
I will post more tomorrow...
