Fun at the Park and Splash Pad

Yesterday evening Gary and I took banna to Andrews Park.
While Gary was at the gym I took her to the playground area. Of course she loved the rocks and dirt...LOVED to put it in her mouth that is! She tried to be very independent as usual... as much as I could let her be. She loved going up the stairs and down the slide... she though she was so big.

Once Daddy got there we got her changed into her swim suit and headed to the splash pad. Gary was such a good daddy he got in there with her and all of the other little kids. He got wet so I could take pictures (really because I didn't want to get wet!). She of course pick up everything she shouldn't, but I should learn to expect more of that!

We played at the park for almost and hour and she had so much fun, we will defiantly have to do this with her more often... She slept great last night!

First Hair Cut! 6-26-10

Savanna got her first hair cut in the kitchen yesterday. Her hair was growing longer, but in the form of a mullet. Her dadddy loved her long hair... I was ready for it to go. So we put her in her high chair and did just one cut to the mullet and thats all there was to it! Mullet gone, and happy mom! Don't worry daddy it will grow back pretty and long.

Day on Great Grandpa's Farm 6/27/10

Today we went out to Gary's grandpa's house for our typical Sunday fried chicken lunch. After lunch Savanna got to go outside and play in her little pool, then she got to feed the cow's corn for the first time. She really seemed to enjoy herself and even got a few cow kisses! Then when we left she was so wore out she feel asleep on her daddy's shoulder... those are some of the best moments when she seems even sweeter if that is possible!

Toddler

Savanna is 15 1/2 months old now! I can't believe how fast time has gone. We recently had her 15 mo doctor check up. The doctor says she looks good but she is tiny but the doctor does not seem to be concerned even if her % continue to drop. She is now 18.2 lbs and in the 1% for her weight, she is 29 in and 12% for her height. The doctor just says she will probably be a tiny girl and that she is healthy. That was great news. She is still wearing 6-9 months shorts and 12 month dresses and outfits, and a size 2 infant shoe! She maybe tiny but she sure does have a BIG personality. She is very busy and always on the go. She only has 6 teeth but can eat anything...even though she doesn't. She is starting to really try to talk she says about 10 words and makes up the rest.
Gary and I are having a blast with her and can't wait to see how her little personality continues to grow!
